I did my healthy shopping today and was very proud of myself. addiotionally I bought a bag of small candies, assured myself I could deal with them. Suuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuure! I could not. See and behold the disaster.

A thought, if you like such things: Have you ever tried sugared ginger? You can find them in Asian markets - they're slices of ginger with a bit of sugar on them. I can't actually eat them, but I suck and chew on them and the flavor is quite satisfying without having to have lots and lots of them. There isn't much sugar on them and the ginger leaves a very nice taste in your mouth.
