Sleep deprivation

As I loose weight, I gain a social life. I am much more outgoing, much more active, dates, sports, movie time, inviting people at my place. Wonderful stuff. But I still need to balance the one with the other because I get to little sleep.

Now don't start thinking I was some kind of hermit BEFORE *grins*, this "new"me is just as social as the "old "me, but the effort involved in doing things, going places, seeing people (read: men) is proportional to having fun. And when I get home I don't feel like I have run a marathon. I can actually enjoy the "feel good" feeling instead of having plunk down on the couch and recuperate from spending all this energy on just keeping my body active.

In short life is good, hectic but good. I am finding it harder to stick to the regime, and am at present sort of surrying along seeking the right format again. BUT having said that, I am confident, I will not be going back to my old ways. My eating habits HAVE changed. I see the importance of fruit and veg, eating breakfast, not going ape on crisps, candy and creams.

Well, time to catch up on some well needed sleep! Oh yes, I could do better on water and exercise! And maybe not have as many chocolate cravings as I do!

I find that sleeping enough really helps with losing weight. Or rather, that NOT sleeping enough makes it harder ;)

Wow, wow, wow, Willow! Your January picture is terrific! No wonder the men are keeping you busy these days...

Just make sure you get enough sleep - I've found that that is just as important as eating properly and getting enough exercise to your health. I wasn't sleeping enough either and have had to make a concentrated effort to turn everything off and get into bed by 9pm (I get up early). It seems to help. I feel much better now.
